Don’t look too closely as this won’t be the only business in Michigan that’s done this and if other state authorities start looking a bit closer they won’t like what they find.

One Love Labs had a third-party lab test the product and found the so-called hemp product contained 86.49% THC.

A mid-Michigan marijuana processor is the subject of a formal complaint by the state for allegedly illegally imported marijuana from Oregon.

The Michigan Cannabis Regulatory Agency inspected One Love Labs in Chesaning in late June after receiving a complaint that the processor had received out-of-state product listed in the state’s tracking system as hemp, but it was actually marijuana.

According to the complaint, One Love Labs imported more than 110 pounds of isolate — concentrated product containing pure CBD or THC — and listed it in the state system as a hemp concentrate, or CBD, from a legal processor in Oregon. That processor held a hemp-processor license in Michigan, but not a marijuana processor license.

Press Release: Cannabis Regulatory Agency Files Formal Complaint Against One Love Labs

August 16, 2024 – The Cannabis Regulatory Agency (CRA) has filed a formal complaint against One Love Labs, LLC (License No. AU-P-000519), located at 1271 Eden Way, Suite P, Chesaning, MI 48616

The CRA is authorized under the Michigan Regulation and Taxation of Marihuana Act (MRTMA), MCL 333.27951 et seq., to investigate alleged violations of the MRTMA and administrative rules promulgated thereunder, take disciplinary action to prevent such violations, and impose fines and other sanctions against applicants and licensees that violate the MRTMA or administrative rules.

The CRA gives notice of its intent to impose fines and/or other sanctions against these licenses, which may include the suspension, revocation, restriction, and/or refusal to renew.

Statements in a formal complaint are merely allegations.
