The Cannabis Regulatory Agency has scheduled a public hearing for the purpose of receiving public comment on the proposed rule set 2023-25 LR (Marihuana Rules). The hearing will be held on Tuesday, May 6, beginning at 9:00AM at Cannabis Regulatory Agency building at 2407 N Grand River Ave, Lansing, MI 48906. Attendees will enter through the south entrance.
Comments may be made at the public hearing in person, virtually via Zoom, or sent via email. All of the information pertaining to the administrative rules – including the draft rule language, a guide to the proposed revisions, and more – can be found at this webpage.

March 27, 2025 – The Cannabis Regulatory Agency (CRA) signed consent order and stipulation documents with Flavor Galaxy, LLC located at 21015 John R Rd, Hazel Park, MI 48030, which resulted in the permanent closure of its processor license.
License AU-P-000373 is permanently closed and will not be renewed, reinstated, reissued, or reactivated, limited or otherwise, at any future date.
Hanna Shina and Jaklin Shina are permanently prohibited from:
- Applying for or otherwise seeking any new marijuana business license in Michigan
- Exercising managerial control over a marijuana business in Michigan*
- Otherwise meeting the criteria to be deemed an applicant, supplemental applicant, or otherwise subject to a background investigation of any such business in Michigan
- Having any new ownership interest in a licensed marijuana business in Michigan
- Being employed or working in any capacity at a licensed marijuana business in Michigan, including but not limited to, performing the functions of a regular or managerial employee, rendering any services as an independent contractor, or rendering any services via another party*
