Mindbloom ( Psychedelics) Looking To Hire A Legal Counsel

Mindbloom is hiring a Legal Counsel to help build the future of psychedelic therapy. You’ll work with our Chief Strategy Officer and General Counsel Mike Petegorsky to expand access to ketamine therapy, lead the rollout of MDMA therapy, and set the standard for regulatory excellence in psychedelic medicine.

The Legal Counsel Role

Mindbloom’s legal team is led by Mike Petegorsky, who was hired as GC in 2021 and promoted to Chief Strategy Officer. Mike is a former litigator at a top law firm, who has been recognized as One to Watch by Best Lawyers in America. As Mindbloom’s GC, he’s successfully lobbied the federal government on psychedelics and telemedicine, and leads our work in PR and research to shape the conversation around psychedelics.

Mike is hiring a Legal Counsel to own a broad portfolio across domains. As Legal Counsel, you will:

• MDMA: Build and execute the roadmap for Mindbloom to offer MDMA therapy

• Cross-Functional Counsel: Work with our Product, Growth, Clinical Ops, Engineering, Finance, and People teams to enable product launches, open new channels, and ensure compliance with applicable regulations

• Privacy and AI Czar: Spearhead new data privacy and AI initiatives as we use the latest technologies to support our clients

Given Mindbloom’s funding and size, we heavily value the potential upside from equity in our compensation package. Further note that Mindbloom has minimal hierarchy and titles, but the scope of role and compensation will be reflective of your level.  The estimated annual salary range for this role is $130,000 – $200,000 USD. The actual base salary may differ based on your current level of job-related skills and experience, and on market data changes. Total compensation for this role may vary depending on equity, sales incentives (for sales roles), and benefits elected.
