The Role:

As COO, you will have full oversight of the company’s operations, ensuring seamless integration between telehealth services, product supply, marketing, and complianceReporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for executing the company’s vision, driving operational efficiency, and ensuring full compliance with industry regulations, including but not limited to TGA legislation.

This is a hands-on leadership role that requires a strong mix of strategic thinking, operational expertise, and industry knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • End-to-End Leadership: Oversee all operational aspects of the business, including telehealth, product development, marketing, and compliance.
  • Strategic Execution: Implement business strategies to drive efficiency, scalability, and market growth.
  • Marketing & Compliance: Ensure all marketing, advertising, and patient education initiatives comply with TGA regulations and industry guidelines. Work closely with marketing teams to ensure ethical and compliant promotions.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the business operates within legal and ethical industry standards, maintaining strict adherence to TGA, state, and federal regulations.
  • Operational Oversight: Streamline processes to enhance performance, patient experience, and supply chain efficiency.
  • Financial Management: Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance in collaboration with the executive team.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams across multiple business units.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Manage relationships with regulators, industry partners and healthcare professionals.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role (COO, General Manager, or similar) within healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or the medicinal cannabis industry.
  • Strong understanding of medicinal cannabis regulations, telehealth models, product supply chains, and marketing compliance.
  • Deep knowledge of TGA legislation and industry compliance requirements for marketing and advertising.
  • Exceptional ability to drive business growth, operational efficiency, and strategic execution.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, revenue growth, and P&L management.
  • A leadership style that fosters collaboration, innovation, and team development.
  • Passion for patient-centric healthcare and the medicinal cannabis industry.
