Nevada: CCB Fines & Suspends 4th Essence Tropicana Employee Over Underage Sales – Company has terminated all employees who allowed sales to happen

A fourth employee is being fined and suspended because the employee failed to properly verify the age of an individual on April 9th in the dispensary’s drive thru. The employee scanned an underage individual’s identification card in VeriScan, and upon information and belief, the employee ignored the VeriScan notification that the individual was underage. The employee proceeded to allow the individual to purchase cannabis. The CCB looked into the incident and saw that the employee violated the law.
The CCB’s Counsel requested a revocation of the employee’s agent card and a $25,000 fine for the employee.
