MOREAU, NY (WRGB) — State Police in Wilton have arrested a 33-year old Norfolk NY man, and an unnamed 18 year old after Troopers find over 200 pounds of marijuana during a traffic stop.
Troopers say they stopped a vehicle, driven by the 18 year old on I-87 in the town of Moreau on Monday afternoon.
State Police say Troopers detected the smell of marijuana and recovered 201 pounds of marijuana stored in multiple black bags, as well as 1.6 grams of cocaine.
Both 33 year old Adam Saumier and the teen were charged with criminal possession of marijuana and criminal possession of a controlled substance.
