Ohio Tax Department Requests Comments on Proposed Adult Use Cannabis Tax Rules

The Ohio Department of Taxation June 1 requested comments on proposed adult use cannabis tax rules. The proposed rules include measures to: 1) provide the filing and payment requirement for adult use cannabis tax; 2) establish the procedures for refund requests of the tax; 3) establish the procedures regarding assessments of the tax; 4) provide recordkeeping requirements for the tax; and 5) provide other regulation on adult use cannabis tax.
