At Loudpack, the corporate paralegal will support the legal, compliance and finance teams with a wide array of tasks such as assisting in the preparation of regulatory filings, contract drafting and review/proofing, corporate housekeeping tasks (forming, maintaining and dissolving business entities), supporting and liaising with outside counsel on litigation matters, and supporting company’s overall compliance efforts.
Duties:
- Assist legal and compliance teams with regulatory compliance filings
- Supports legal and finance teams with transactional maters including document drafting and due diligence
- Prepares for and assists with closing various corporate transactions
- Assists with corporate housekeeping matters related to formation, maintenance, and winding down/dissolution of corporate affiliates and subsidiaries
- Organize and maintain company contract and legal databases
- Works with General Counsel to timely meet the legal needs of all company departments including production/manufacturing, HR, marketing, finance, and the executive team
- Calendars important dates and deadlines and takes ownership to ensure all deadlines are met
- Provides legal and non-legal administrative support to legal and corporate finance team

Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Paralegal certification (preferred)
- Minimum of 4 to 6 years of corporate/transaction paralegal experience in house or at a reputable law firm
- Is a commissioned Notary or willing to become a Notary
- Cannabis industry experience a plus
