Police uncover cannabis crop with estimated value of $122,000 on Queensland island

A cannabis crop with an estimated value of $122,000 have been found by Queensland Police in a remote area off the state’s coast.
Detectives said they found 49 mature plants surrounded by a makeshift electric fence in a national park at West Point on Magnetic Island.
An investigation has been launched to find out more about the crop which was found on May 23.
Police seeking information about from anyone who may have seen people behaving suspiciously in or around the national park at West Point.
