He works with companies ranging from early-stage startups to large multi-national corporations on business strategy, corporate planning and legal risks related to cannabis law.
Recognized by The National Law Journal as a “Trailblazer” in cannabis law, Ashby writes and speaks frequently on cannabis topics and is sought after by news organizations for analysis on regulatory developments.
Fluent in Japanese, he earned his J.D. from Seattle University and his B.S., summa cum laude, from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
