QLD Australia – Joint police drug bust uncovers millions of dollars worth of cocaine, MDMA and illegal cash

An interstate police drug bust has uncovered millions of dollars worth of cocaine, MDMA and cash.
In a joint investigation, NSW and Queensland Police targeted the interstate supply of prohibited drugs and discovered an alleged criminal syndicate running narcotics across state lines.
Police from Strike Force Oshawa say they intercepted a delivery en-route to the Gold Coast containing 25kg of cocaine and 5kg of MDMA on October 10.
The bricks of illegal drugs were seized and the estimated street value was $9.2 million, police revealed.
Police then conducted raids at multiple homes in Caringbah in NSW and Rocklea in Queensland that same day and allegedly located $3 million in cash, a Glock pistol, 1kg of MDMA, luxury watches and small amounts of other illegal drugs.
Two men aged 26 and 53 were arrested on General Homes Drive in Brighton Le Sands after being pulled over.
