140 cannabis plants and 40 kilos of already bagged marijuana: this is what the Carabinieri found in a farm in Sestu, in the locality of “Is ceas de garau”. The checks date back to the evening of August 14.
A 38-year-old local farmer is in trouble, arrested for cultivation and possession of narcotics. Inside a greenhouse, the plants were found, already in the drying phase, and the drugs, stored in plastic bags. Also on site were various materials for weighing, drying and packaging the drugs, stored in a room adjacent to the greenhouse.
All the material was seized. The 38-year-old is now under house arrest.
