Scotland: Cannabis grinder’ thrown at Rangers soccer team captain during Glasgow derby!

Police are investigating after James Tavernier was targeted with missiles during the match against Celtic.

Play was stopped during the second half of the derby at Parkhead while the player prepared to take a corner kick.

Rangers' James Tavernier hands referee Willie Collum an object that was thrown onto the pitch during a cinch Premiership match between Celtic and Rangers at Celtic Park.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We are aware of items thrown during the match at Parkhead on Saturday.

“Enquiries into the matter are ongoing.”

Missiles were also thrown at the last Old Firm derby at Ibrox when Celtic player Matt O’Riley was targeted with a bottle after scoring.
