Scotland: Cannabis grow dumped in Glasgow cemetery for fifth time as locals hit out at ‘disrespectful’ behaviour

Locals have hit out at ‘disrespectful’ behaviour after a cannabis grow was dumped in a Glasgow cemetery for the fifth time.

Craig Watson, said he’s been horrified to find the illegal plants abandoned in Craigton Cemetery over the last few months. Craig, from Cardonald, said that while out walking his dog, said he has seen a number of black bags full of leaves and other equipment he believes have come from a cannabis farm.

Craig found the recent haul on January 12 and took to social media to share his disgust.

Speaking to Glasgow Live, he said: “Me and a friend of mine walk dogs down there every day. That was the smallest one that’s been there, a couple months back there was one about seven feet high behind the crematorium. I contacted the police about that one and they phoned back at around 1.30am in the morning.

“They were looking for the dump site and I had to guide them. It’s a disgrace because it isn’t the place you should be dumping anything never mind a grow.
