10/04/2024 | The second cannabis club in Rhineland-Palatinate has been officially authorised. Following the SüdWest e.V. cultivation community in Lambrecht (Bad Dürkheim district), the CSC Rhoihesse e.V. in Wörrstadt (Alzey-Worms district) has now also received authorisation for the communal cultivation and distribution of cannabis to members, according to the Saarbrücker Zeitung newspaper. Of a total of 27 applications submitted, these two have been approved so far.
Carsten Boge, chairman of the SüdWest cultivation community, reports on initial progress: The first plants have been sent into flower and the first harvest is to be distributed to members in December. The price per gram is estimated at around eight euros, but could fluctuate due to unclear energy costs and possible demands from the tax authorities.
