We are seeking an experienced Senior Regulatory Compliance Officer with high energy level and initiative. The Senior Regulatory Compliance Officer has the responsibility of ensuring that the organization takes necessary steps to comply with relevant laws, policies, and regulations in the process of attaining the organization’s goals and objectives.
The Sr. Regulatory Compliance Officer must meet the requirements set by Health Canada for these specific key roles:
- Cannabis Standard Process Licence (SPL) – Responsible Person:
- Hold a security clearance (or be eligible to apply for one);
- Have sufficient knowledge of the provisions of the Cannabis Act and Regulations.
- Cannabis Drug Licence (CDL) – QPIC (or SPIC):
- Work at the site specified in the licence;
- Are entitled to practise a profession that is relevant to their duties, such as that of pharmacist, practitioner, pharmacy technician or laboratory technician;
- Hold a diploma, certificate or credential that is awarded by a post-secondary educational institution in Canada (or foreign) in a relevant field (e.g. pharmacy, medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, pharmacology, chemistry, biology, pharmacy technician, laboratory technician, pharmaceutical regulatory affairs or supply chain management or security;
