FLORENCE, S.C. —
A commercial passenger bus was pulled over in South Carolina, and deputies say $600,000 worth of cocaine was found in the luggage compartment.
This happened Sunday at about 7:15 a.m. on Highway 52 in Florence County.
Deputies say after making contact with the driver, they deployed a narcotic detecting canine to conduct a free air sniff around the outside of the bus.
They said the canine alerted to the odor of narcotics coming from a bag in the lower luggage compartment.
