Sweden: Juicy Fields Lawyer, Lars Olofsson Accused of Financial Fraud For Third Time … Tells Swedish Court He’s Seeking Political Asylum. Authorities Say He Is Officially Listed As ”Missing”.

If this is all true this is doubly depressing for those who suffered at the hands of Juicy Fields.

”I think Lars is no better than Juicy Fields.

The difference is he’s doing it on a smaller scale.

He’s hard to stop; people believe in him, and to many, he’s like a god.”

Also, we should mention his faithful offsider, Daniel Johansson (picture below left) who Cannabis Law Report met in a cafe in Bali in mid 2023 and had a rather odd conversation, which, with hindsight explains a lot.

He appeared somewhat scatty and encouraged CLR to support their campaign.

I hasten to add i did buy into their pitch and gave Olofsson plenty of press and highlighted him as a cannabis lawyer to watch, because of his Juicy Fields work, in the 2023-2024 edtion of the Top 200 cannabis lawyers directory.

After endless failed attempts of communication Olofsson was not included in the current 5th edition 2024-2025

If the story below is correct it looks like a double dupe and apologies from this rag for also being taken in to some extent by their “pitch”.

Though I’m very pleased to say that neither Juicy Fields nor Olofsson managed to dent my wallet just my usually relatively observant radar.

You can’t win them all.

As an addendum I’ve noticed that I can’t remember as yet, meeting one person from this entire sorry affair, whichever side of the fence they purport to sit on, that i’d want to have a coffee with.

Juicy Fields lawyer Lars Olofsson: 125,000 euros for your daughter
2024-11-28 | Lars Olofsson likes to present himself as the alleged savior of fraud victims in the Juicy Fields cannabis investment scandal. Now he is facing serious allegations. According to research by Svenska Dagbladet (SvD), the lawyer took millions from victims through false promises and at the same time made secret financial agreements with suspects in the scandal.Olofsson is suspected of having demanded 125,000 euros from one of the suspects in order to protect his daughter, otherwise she would go to prison for 12 years. “My price for your daughter: 125,000 euros,” it said in a message. At the same time, he collected fees from fraud victims, promised high compensation sums and claimed to be an experienced lawyer. He himself was convicted several times in court for financial offenses, most recently he did not appear at a court hearing and informed his lawyer that he was seeking asylum in another country. His claims of an elite military past and successes in major fraud cases could not be substantiated. Critics accuse him of doing more harm than good, while he continues to act as an advocate for the injured parties. Deutsche Welle discussed the new research in its podcast “Cannabis Cowboy”.

He promises to help victims of fraud. But SvD’s investigative podcast exposes Juicy Fields lawyer Lars Olofsson’s double dealings: He’s secretly attempting to secure 125,000 euros for helping one of the suspects in the Juicy Fields case.

He is perhaps best known as the legal counsel for individuals defrauded in Juicy Fields, a huge cannabis investment scam. But this day, Lars Olofsson isn’t called to appear before the court to advocate for his clients.

He stands accused of financial crimes for the third time.

And now, he faces the prospect of imprisonment.

The door to courtroom 19 swings open. Inside, the judge, prosecutor, and a defense attorney are seated.

But Lars Olofsson is nowhere to be found. The judge attempts to reach him by phone, but there’s no response.

His defense attorney exits the courtroom, phone in hand. Fifteen minutes later, she returns with a message.

”He has asked me to inform the court that he is seeking political asylum, though I don’t know where”, she tells the judge.

The trial proceeds in his absence. Lars Olofsson is convicted, for the third time, of financial crimes in Sweden. While he avoids a prison sentence, he is given a conditional sentence and fines for bookkeeping violations, which he has appealed.

In Sweden, Lars Olofsson – who has dubbed himself the ”world’s largest class action lawyer” – is officially listed as ”missing”. This designation means that authorities investigating him, such as the Swedish Tax Agency and the Police Authority, are unable to ascertain his whereabouts.

Yet, he maintains a presence in various media outlets and online forums, where he is portrayed as a heroic figure championing justice for fraud victims.

For a year, Svenska Dagbladet (SvD) has scrutinized lawyer Lars Olofsson. The investigation, detailed in the podcast series “The Savior”, reveals how he has recieved millions SEK from fraud victims through deceptive claims.

”I have given them hope, and I feel I have been very honest with them in that regard”, Lars Olofsson states in SvD’s podcast.

He believes that the trial in Malmö was a miscarriage of justice against him and states that his previous prison sentence was not the result of any deliberate wrongdoing.

”In the end, I will win”, Lars Olofson says in SvD:s podcast.

So, who is this purported super-lawyer from Sweden?

The crash: Juicy Fields and Lars Olofsson

The Juicy Fields scam collapsed in the summer of 2022. By then, thousands of people worldwide had invested substantial sums, believing they were buying into production of medical cannabis. In reality, it was all an elaborate facade.

It was at this point that Swedish lawyer Lars Olofsson stepped forward. In his marketing, he painted a picture of an impressive background.

”I’ve been working with cases of frauds and scams for the last 15 years, and I have a background in the Swedish military intelligence, and I was also an officer in the Swedish navy seals”, Lars Olofsson claimed in a promotional video.

This narrative was repeated in client meetings and interviews.

Targeting the alleged accomplices of the scam – banks and social media platforms – Lars Olofsson claimed he could push for substantial damages.
