Welcome to our eighth monthly newsletter in what has turned out to be a very uncertain year for many and a time of opportunity for some, and hello to our fast-growing number of Members – Grower, Corporate, Associate, Supporter – and eNews Subscribers.

This regular eNews update is designed to inform and educate our ever-expanding network of farmers, processors, makers and end-users, along with all community members interested in low-THC cannabis.

Notice of Special General Meeting

A Special General Meeting (SGM) has been called for all voting members of our association – Grower, Corporate and Associate – and will be held remotely via Zoom video link at 1pm on Tuesday 15th September. Read more here.

Report on Our Annual Awards Dinner

A great night was had on Friday 21st August 2020 at The Tramsheds in Launceston, as our valuable Grower, Corporate, Associate and Supporter Members took a chance to network with many other key industry stakeholders.

Our annual awards dinner was a bit of a who’s who this year, with local, State and Federal elected representatives from all three major political parties all showing their fantastic bipartisan support for hemp as a crop. Read more about the event here.

Official Call For Investors:
Mobile Hemp Processing Unit

Since our last updates – which can be seen here and here – on this project’s progress things continue to move ahead with the process of the buying the first Mobile Hemp Processing Unit (MHPU) for our state. Capital is being raised by X-Hemp founder and THA Executive Officer Andi Lucas in a very clean-and-simple manner and you can read more about it here.
