As a reminder, the Cannabis Sustainability Work Group’s (CSWG) Policy Committee is hosting the second of two listening sessions regarding packaging waste on Jan. 27, 2025, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
The recording of the first listening session on Jan. 7, which focused on material types in packaging and labeling sustainability, can be found on the Marijuana Enforcement Division’s Public Engagements webpage. As referenced in the first session, the CSWG Policy Committee asks licensees to complete this Cannabis Packaging & Labeling Sustainability Survey about packaging decisions and the importance of sustainability in those decisions. Please note this is a CSWG survey and the Division will not have access to the results.
Topics in the upcoming Jan . 27 session will include green waste and vape recycling. The details on how to join are below, and are also available on the event calendar (at the bottom of the MED website homepage).
