Now that’s a headline you don’t often see! Only in Nigeria…

According to the NDLEA, investigations established that the suspect was totally oblivious to the content of the bag handed to him to deliver in Kano.

The National Drug Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has arrested three blind men allegedly operating an illicit drug ring between Lagos and Kano, while another blind member of the syndicate is still at large.

The anti-graft agency in a statement on Sunday said the suspects were nabbed following the arrest of a 40-year-old blind suspect, Adamu Hassan, along Gwagwalada expressway, Abuja with 12kg of Skunk while on his way from Lagos to Kano on Saturday, October 28.

According to the NDLEA, investigations established that the suspect was totally oblivious to the content of the bag handed to him to deliver in Kano and follow-up operations led to the arrest of the 45-year-old arrowhead of the syndicate, Bello Abubakar, who is also blind.

The statement read, “NDLEA operatives have arrested three blind men operating an illicit drug ring between Lagos and Kano, while another blind member of the syndicate is still at large.
