The Mighty and Crafty plus are very similar in the way that they operate, sharing the same hybrid heating system, and a very similar cooling unit setup, and as a result, the vapor quality between the Crafty plus and the Mighty or Mighty Plus dry herb vapes, is very very similar.
Now if you are used to the Mighty or Crafty and then you go to a VENTY, you will instantly realise that this is a completely new and different vaporizer to its predecessors. The VENTY is equipped with a much more powerful hybrid heating system, that needs this power, to compensate for the amount of airflow that is possible with the adjustable wheel which adjusts the amount of airflow being inhaled. When open to the max setting of 3, the VENTY will let through a whopping 20 litres of airflow per minute, which is comparable to inhaling through the easy valve on a Volcano balloon!
So my tips for the absolute most efficient extraction of all your THC and all the other medicinal compounds; terpenes, cannabinoids, CBD and more from your bowl of medicinal flower; is to start vaping at a very very low temperature. Now when I use my Mighty, I almost always bang it to a hot temp like 200 or 210 deg, and extract the entire bowl at the hot temp over 3 or 4 mins, as I find the vapor at this temp on the Mighty or Crafty the best consistency at this temp.
However, if you try to go straight to 210 deg on the VENTY , you will extract everything in approx 3 lungfuls, and it seems to be over all very quickly, without a huge satisfaction from the bowl.
So now, with my VENTY, I now begin a session on 175 degrees C, with the airflow setting open to just past 1, and I take a very long and slow breath, slowly inhaling for over 15 seconds. And when you exhale, the flavours of your flower dance over your palate, exciting many senses simultaneously, such as taste and excitement! You will blow out a small cloud of vapor, and I will continue for another 4 to 5 deep inhalation breaths at 175 deg celsius. Then I step up the temperature by 10degree increments, taking 5 to 6 very deep, long inhalations at each temperature step, until the max temp of 210 deg celsius is reached. I have found that this is the way to achieve the ultimate extraction of all the compounds of your herb, and If I complete a bowl this way, I have found that this is the best way to use the VENTY
It is also worth noting that no matter what the airflow setting is at, whether open to 1, or to 3, and no matter if the user is inhaling very hard and fast, or whether the user is inhaling very long and slow, the amazing technology built into the VENTY tells the 130w hybrid heating system to either heat up faster as the airflow is increased, or heat less aggressively if the user is inhaling slowly so that the quality of the vapor is exactly the same, on every single breath.
