Two charged after ‘cannabis worth £2.1m’ seized in Co. Tyrone

Two men have been charged following the discovery of suspected cannabis with an estimated street value of £2.1m in County Tyrone.

The men, aged 37 and 48, are charged with possession of a class-B drug and possession of a class-B drug with intent to supply.

They are due to appear at Enniskillen Magistrates’ Court on Monday.

Officers searched properties in the Cookstown and Coalisland areas on Saturday.

They seized the suspected drugs, two vehicles and a number of other items.
