POLICE officers in forensic suits were spotted at the scene after a large-scale cannabis growing facility was discovered.
Inside a disused building in Brighton, a “substantial commercial cannabis factory” was found.
Police said the crop has been recently harvested, with the cannabis drying and awaiting further preparation.
Police responded to reports of suspicious activity at the disused building, Stanford House, in South Road, Brighton, on Thursday, December 30.
No arrests have been made, but an investigation to identify those involved is underway.
Pictures from the scene show a number of police officers, including some in white, full-body suits, congregating outside the building.

Detective Sergeant Chris Lane said commercial cannabis sites of this type are often closely linked with organised crime including modern slavery and human trafficking.
