UK: Three men remanded into custody in connection with Northampton cannabis growth

Three men have been remanded in custody charged with conspiring to produce a Class B drug – namely cannabis.

Gentjan Carku, Ardjan Mulati and Arian Pema were arrested after officers from Northampton Neighbourhood Policing Team responded to concerns from members of the public regarding suspicious activities at an address in Duston Wildes, Northampton, last Wednesday (May 29).

Carku, aged 29, of Princes Avenue, Palmers Green, London, Pema, aged 26, of Green Lanes, Hornsey, London, and 28-year-old Mulati, of no fixed address, appeared before Northampton Magistrates’ Court on Friday, May 31.

The trio will remain in custody until their next hearing at Northampton Crown Court on July 12.

Northampton Neighbourhood Policing officer, PC Lydia Chamberlain, said: “Tackling and preventing drugs harm is a matter of priority for the Force, and working together with our communities, we will continue to disrupt the drugs supply chain in our county.
