A woman has been arrested after a huge cannabis farm was uncovered in the loft of a home in Bolton. Police raided the house on Arthur Street, in Little Lever on Sunday morning (January 5).
Despite ‘sophisticated attempts’ to hide the grow, which appeared to be set up in a loft, officers stormed the property and found the sizeable farm up a ladder on the upper floor.
A woman, aged 40, was arrested on suspicion of the cultivation of cannabis and abstraction of electricity. She currently remains in custody for questioning.
