MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – A 3-year-old child wearing a backpack full of cocaine tried to ditch the evidence as law enforcement officers were raiding the house he was in, according to newly released court documents.
Federal prosecutors revealed that and other details in the written plea agreement of Tierra Toccora Hill, who pleaded guilty Friday to conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute drugs and possession of a firearm in furtherance of drug trafficking crime.
Hill, 36, of Mobile gained national headlines after her arrest in March when the Mobile County Sherriff’s Office revealed that deputies found her 3-year-old child’s backpack had drugs.
At the time, federal agents had Hill and her co-defendants under surveillance. Federal prosecutors described her as a “trusted courier and distributor” from 2017 until her arrest last year. They allege that she worked for a Mobile man named Glennie Antonio McGee.
