Secretary of State business registrations

When preparing for your cannabis establishment license renewal, you will need to provide the CCB with updated documentation of an active business registration from the Secretary of State’s office.

Depending on when you first registered your business, you may need to renew your business registration. Plan on visiting the SoS website to renew your business in advance of your cannabis renewal.

Product registration

Reminder:

Once you pick your product registration payment method there is no going back. You must proceed with that payment option whether you are paying online or with a check.

This means that if you select the check option you cannot go back and pay online.

License renewal tip: background check

CCB Staff would like to remind licensees that your initial background check is good for two years.

When you renew, your background check must be valid at the time of submission. If your background check is more than two years old, the licensing team will require that you complete a new background check.

We will provide you with all of the steps necessary to complete a new background check upon receipt of the establishment renewal.

April application Deadline has passed

The deadline to be included on the register for the April Board Meeting was April 12, 2024.

In order to be ready for approval at the April Board meeting, an applicant must:

Have fully completed their application
Received a certificate of occupancy from fire safety (when necessary), and
Have passed their initial compliance site review by the CCB.
