Dr Brian Walker Upper House member West Australia for the Cannabis party writes

I have asked in excess of 240 cannabis questions over the course of this parliament, almost all of which have received the same, tired old answer – “The Cook Labor Government has no plans to amend the laws regarding cannabis during this parliament.”

But what about the next parliament? We’re weeks away from a state election, so what plans, if any, does Labor have to at least deliver on its state party policy of limited decriminalisation. Answer? None.

You heard it here first – the ONLY way to achieve changes to cannabis law in the coming term of government is to ensure that the Legalise Cannabis Party has the weight in parliament to compel the government to act!
