The Times (UK) reports
A doctor has won an 18-month struggle with the Charity Commission to set up Britain’s first charity to fund cannabis medicines for people denied treatment on the NHS.
Simon Erridge, who works in the NHS but is also a clinical research fellow at Imperial College London, was finally given permission to establish the Sapphire Medical Foundation last month. The Charity Commission says that it works to process applications within five months.

This information has been posted on the Sapphire Foundation FB Page.
and he posted on his twitter
Here’s the foundation website
We also note that Dr Erridge holds this position at Sapphire Medical but on the site above which is separate from https://www.sapphireclinics.com/
As a trustee of the foundation he doesn’t mention the clinic business at all ? There is a link at the clinic business website to the foundation site but not visa versa.
A little more transparency would be nice for outsiders especially as funding for the foundation appears to be coming from fun runs, crowdsourcing and the like.
